Japanese Fabrics and Textiles

We offer the following pre-packaged items at $16 each:

bullet SILK: consisting of at least 2 yards of color-coordinated silk pieces where the maximum  width is confined to the standard Japanese kimono fabric width of 14 inches. Please select from the following colors: black, brown, green, red, purple, blue, orange/yellow OR pink silk packs.  When you place your order, we will hand select the packet(s) that best represent the color instructions you send us.  More details on our webpage titled SILKS.
bullet YUKATA: consisting of at least 2 yards of hand stenciled and dyed 100% cotton fabric of either a multi-colored design on a blue background or white background OR blue & white cotton with either a dark blue OR a white background.
bullet KASURI (Japanese Ikat): consisting to at least 2 yards of various patterns.  Some patterns are geometric, others have woven designs of leaves, butterflies, flowers, etc. 

In addition we offer a wide range of other Japanese textiles.   Included are rolls of kasuri (cotton ikat weave); shibori (tie dyed) cotton and silk; brocade (mostly silk obi); yukata (hand stenciled and dyed 100% cotton); wedding kimono silk (heavy silk satin, many embroidered).

Yardage is limited to what would be in a single kimono (12meters of 13 yards).   Items shown on the website have at least one yard and in some cases, up to 13 yards.  Please select from one of the following:

All of our Japanese textiles and fabrics (shibori, kasuri, silk, brocade, yukata, wedding kimono, indigo panels, obi, trims, boy's day banners), antiques and dolls were individually selected while we lived in Japan.
